Research Projects & Highlights
- Stellar fundamental parameters — Determining precise stellar parameters, especially ages, using YREC and MESA stellar-evolution models while accounting for C and O enhancements.
- Galactic chemical evolution and exoplanets — Studying how stellar properties such as metallicity, elemental abundances, magnetic activity, and Galactic birth environments affect planet formation and evolution.
- FAST radio astronomy and interstellar magnetic fields — Characterizing the full-Stokes beam patterns of the FAST L-band 19-beam receiver and conducting HINSA–Zeeman observations of interstellar magnetic fields.
